As one of the few female builders in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Carol brings a fresh perspective to an industry that too often focuses on cost structures rather than the daily life lived within the walls.

Carol's worldview was shaped long before drafting her first floor plan. "I was born and lived my first three years in Indonesia while my father was working for the US Government. Just before I turned four, we returned to Oklahoma, and I lived a fairly normal childhood, catching crawdads, riding bikes, and running up dirt roads. I guess it was my 'normal'. I come from two vastly different parts of the world, but both are intimately connected to the earth and to how we live in it. This connection is the cornerstone of how I approach life and work." That connection to the earth and people continues to guide her philosophy today. "We are all connected in some way. Listening to the universe and finding the threads of the connections has shaped how I approach designing homes." For Carol, homes are not just products.
